Fête des Pommiers

The Fouesnant Festival Committee has been organizing this unmissable event in Fouesnant for many years.
It is a reflection of Fouesnant traditions and especially the opportunity for 2 days to celebrate them.
Celebration stars, ciders and apple juice, of course, but also and above all, initiation to Breton dance, Breton games, grilled dinner, Fest-Noz, hikes, parade, folk gala of traditional dances with dance show ... All, closed by a colorful fireworks display.
In the program :
SATURDAY
- 10:00 am: Cider and local apple juice contest at the Archipelago (free)
- 2:00 p.m .: Petanque competition at the Balnéides sports ground, (€ 6 per doublette) organized by Pétanque Fouesnantaise.
- 2:30 p.m .: Result of the Cider and Apple Juice Competition at the school restaurant (free)
- 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Introduction to Breton dance at the school in Kérourgué (free)
- 6:00 p.m .: Presentation of the Flowers of Apple Trees 2020 and delivery of pins, Town Hall Square (free)
- 7:00 p.m .: Grilled dinner (for a fee) led by sailors' songs (free show), town hall square
- 9:00 p.m .: Fest Noz lively, town hall square (free).

SUNDAY :
07h00: Cycle touring tour of Les Pommiers with the Vélo club association of Fouesnant, departures for 30/55/100 kms - Meeting at the sports hall in Bréhoulou, € 3 licensed, € 5 on site.
08:30 am: Walk with the Fouesnant Rando association, Place de la Mairie, 2 courses of 8 km
9:30 a.m. and 12 km at 9:00 a.m. -
registration at 8:30 a.m., € 3 on site.
10:00 am: Mass of apple trees, Saint-Pierre Church of Fouesnant, in the presence of the three Apple Flowers.
11:30 am: Outing in dawn with the Bagad Bro Foën and the Celtic circle Ar Pintiged Foen.
11:30 am: Grand parade in the streets of Fouesnant with bagadous and Celtic circles as well as flowers of apple trees 2020 and ten benches (free).
12:30 p.m .: Grill meal (for a fee) at the town hall square.
1:30 p.m .: Folk Gala (traditional dances and music), Town Hall Square (free)
7.15 p.m .: Triumph of the bell ringers, rue de Cornouaille (free)
9:00 p.m .: Traditional dance performance of the Celtic Circle Ar Pintiged Foen de Fouesnant, Town Hall Square (free).
22h00: Torchlight retreat, departure from the town hall square to the Balnéides field
11:00 p.m .: Fireworks, Balneides field (free).
